Lena Dunham
I. Love. Lena. Dunham. My girl crush meter is off the charts when it comes to this girl. If you are not familiar with Lena, drop what you are doing (NOW) and find someone (anyone) who has HBO so you can watch Girls. I am hopelessly jealous that she not only writes, but directs, produces, and stars in this amazingly crafted show. She owns her shit. What could be sassier than that? She also gets a lot of flack, as well as praise, for her ability to strip down (literally) as Hannah, even though she isn’t a size 0 model. I applaud her for her bravery, but I admire her for her creative talent. The girl knows how to write a mean episode (Season 1’s All Adventurous Women Do is worthy of a Golden Globe in and of itself). All in all, I want to be Lena Dunham when I grow up.
So shout out to Lena Dunham, stay sassy girl.
